Sounds like the beginnings of a good story. And it is. You see, the bankers, Joe Harrison and Nancy Bode, and their friend, firearms instructor Dan “Sparky” Parkinson, all have a passion for shooting. They also have the vision to build the largest, most advanced indoor/outdoor shooting range within a hundred miles of Superior, Wisconsin.

- Oakleys is meant to get people off the couch and out doing something—the way grandpa used to take you hunting, or when dad would set up a target in the back yard.
- This range will provide a safe, non-threatening atmosphere for all gun enthusiasts—including women, who make up the fastest-growing segment of the sport.

Our Mission
Oakleys Shooting Range will provide a safe, state-of-the-art indoor/outdoor facility for the purpose of improving competency and familiarity with firearms for men and women. Oakleys will focus on women through education and activities that evolve around the sport of shooting. Safety and education are our main objectives. We will promote the outdoors by making our facility available for organizations that share that focus.
