To those who participated in a survey of ours, THANK YOU! We wanted to provide an
update within six months of the survey. If you are a participant of BOW and receiving
this, and want to continue to receive updates, please send your e-mail address to
oakleysshootingrange@yahoo.com. I will see that you’re added to the mailing.
Plans are progressing. We have high expectations for a quality shooting establishment for demographics that has been grossly underserved.
Our web page should be up within 60-90 days. Until that happens, you may reach us at
oakleysshootingrange@yahoo.com in the event you want to contact us. We will answer
questions as best we can. For those receiving this update in the mail, please bear with us until we have a mailing address.
The people involved in getting this off the ground are Nancy Bode, Dan Parkinson, and
Joe Harrison. Dan has a background in the firearm industry. Joe & Nancy both have a
banking background.
Our business plan was recognized by the Development Association as a viable business
for Douglas County. To date we are working with a local realtor, attorney, accountant,
and web page designer.
We will include questions and answers in our next newsletter. Please be watching for it in about three months. It may be sooner if the number of inquiries warrants.
