Oakleys is at a crossroadsFebruary, 2011 When we began this venture, we did extensive market research. Part of that research included our survey, which posed the question, “Would you be willing to invest in this project to help make it happen?“ The results were overwhelmingly in support. So we moved forward. However, we have fallen short of our S.E.C. investment requirement, as stated in our initial public offering. Therefore all investment dollars will be returned to the potential investors. Throughout all our research and reviews from business specialists, Oakleys was, and still is a viable, sound business opportunity. It’s a project whose time has come. That is why we will continue to focus on additional ways to raise the necessary start-up capital through corporate investors, grants and donations. Oakleys will offer classes when conceal and carry passes in the state of Wisconsin. We are instructor-ready! In the interim, our web page and facebook page will remain active. So, to all who are supportive of Oakleys becoming a reality, we want to hear from you. We invite comments, suggestions. . . . and donations!
